A man who attempted to carry out a knife attack in the Israeli-occupied West Bank was shot dead on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army said.
An army statement said there had been an “attempted stabbing attack at Gitai Avisar Junction, south of Nablus” in which the assailant had been “neutralised.”
The Palestinian health ministry said the alleged assailant was Palestinian, while an Israeli army spokesman told AFP he had been killed.
