Residents of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, were excited last weekend when the management of Total Grace Oil and Gas rewarded some of its customers with some COVID-19 giveaway prizes.
The gift items presented by the firm were four Toyota Camry; 12 motorcycles, eight power generating sets, and 10 freezers.
The gesture, according to the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Dr. Henry Akinduro, is a way of empowering some less-privileged members of the public in view of the challenge occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Four winners emerged from the draw conducted by Nollywood actors led by Prince Jide Kosoko.
Akinduro, who disclosed the winners were drawn from the four newly inaugurated branches of the firm in Ibadan, said: “This is the first time that this is happening in the oil and gas sector in Ibadan.
