Mamelodi Sundowns have unveiled two signings, both coming from Highlands Park, who will not be competing in the top flight in the coming season.
Golden Boot joint-winner Peter Shalulile has joined the league champions, along with teammate Mothobi Mvala.

Having been heavily linked with the duo, the Tshwane giants confirmed their signing on Friday morning.
“I joined Sundowns because I think it’s one of the best clubs in Africa and I want to win trophies. It’s a platform for me to play in Africa with the CAF Champions League,” Shalulile, who finished the recently-concluded season on 16 goals alongside Gabadinho Mhango of Orlando Pirates, is quoted by the club’s website.
The announcement comes a week after Sundowns completed a domestic treble, also securing a spot in the Caf Champions League.
The club’s knack for collecting trophies played a factor in Mvala’s decision to trade the red of Highlands Park for the Sundowns’ yellow.
“Every season Sundowns competes for trophies, which is something you want as a player, to win something for yourself, for your family, for the supporters, for everyone, I’m looking forward to meeting all the players, so that we can share good moments and keep winning.”
The duo are the latest to join Sundowns, who began bolstering their squad in the middle of the previous campaign.
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka was a high-profile signing, with the player opting against renewing his contract with the Glamour Boys.
Also joining Sundowns on a pre-contract was Ajax Cape Town and Bafana midfielder Grant Margeman who is expected to compete with Maluleka and Mvala for a spot in the midfield.
Black Leopards attacking midfielder Lesedi Kapinga is another player who was unveiled as a new face at Sundowns.
The Glamour Boys have also been linked with Cape Town City striker Kermit Erasmus, who finished the season with 13 league goals, his best tally so far in the PSL.
