Nigeria records 90 new cases of COVID-19, total now 56,478

Nigeria on Tuesday night recorded 90 new cases of Coronavirus across the country.

This, according to a tweet released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, (NCDC), brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 56,478.

As it stands, 44,430 patients have been discharged, and 1088 patients have died.

Lagos State had the highest number of recorded cases on Tuesday with 33, Plateau State followed with 27 cases and Kaduna State came next with 17 cases.

Other states recorded as follows:

Ogun-6 FCT-4 Anambra-1 Ekiti-1 Nasarawa-1
