The Forensics For Justice team have put a handsome cash reward up for grabs, in a bid to find out who gunned down one of Cape Town’s most prominent law officials. Charl Kinnear was gunned down on Friday afternoon, after leading the fight against the ugly criminal underworld plaguing the Mother City.

The cases of Charl Kinnear
Charl Kinnear has been central into investigations around alleged underworld kingpin Nafiz Modack, who was acquitted earlier this year of crimes relating to extortion of popular Cape Town nightclub The Grand Beach Cafe. National Police Commissioner General Khehla John Sitole said that the loss of one of the province’s top law enforcement officers was ‘tragic’.
His other investigations included the killing of biker boss Tim Lotter, as well as his known associate Stefan Venter, who was shot dead outside an eatery in Gordons Bay last week. He was also looking at the gang-related killing of prominent Cape Town attorney Pete Mihalik.
