Details about an upcoming Ghost of Tsushima: Legends DLC (Downloadable Content) was revealed in a new art book, titled The Art of Ghost of Tsushima.

New Legends DLC details
Fans who have been receiving copies of the book shared a few extra details found in the book, such as a new character called Storyteller. The character is “an all-seeing and all-knowing masked traveller”.
In addition, the artbook refers to the landscape in Legends as “a more dream-like quality” than the main game, with “exaggerated features and a different colour palette” inspired by ancient Japanese woodblock prints.
One fan, TheSushisquire, also showed off a masked warrior who transforms into a beast, giving us some insight into what Ghost of Tsushima: Legends bosses and other enemies might look like.

TheSushisquire also showcases the currencies, resources and the Games menu, which is red to match the details showcased in the recent Ghost of Tsushima: Legends announcement trailer.
While the date has not yet been confirmed, retailers are announcing an “fall release” (American climate) meaning we could expect a release at some point between September and December 2020.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends – What you need to know
An ‘entirely new experience’
According to Darren Bridges, Senior Game Designer at Sucker Punch Productions, Legends “is an entirely new experience” as it will be a separate mode “that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey”.
Instead, the focus of Legends will be on four warriors “who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima”. I’m assuming that would include the Legend of Tadayori?
While the single-player campaign is set in a vast open-world that you get to explore through Jin Sakai’s adventurous, travels and battles, Legends will focus on the “locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology”.

Rumour has it that if you can complete the Story and Survival missions (and make it through in one piece), you should be able to take on the four-player Raid which will “arrive shortly after the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends“.
Challenge accepted! Bridges said it has been “so rewarding to see the amazing reactions from players online”. The developers have been watching “so many playthrough streams”, he adds.
“We’re happy to offer this mode completely free to Ghost of Tsushima owners as a thank you to our players, and we look forward to hearing what you think. We’ll have much more to share on Legends as we get closer to launch”.
